Dolores Barbara (LeFevre) Boos, 91, of Northumberland, passed away Thursday, March 24, 2022.

She was born Oct. 20, 1930, and raised in Northumberland. Dolores loved being a Girl Scout, and graduated from Northumberland "Pineknotter" High School.

She worked as a Bell Telephone (switchboard) operator, and from her stories, enjoyed it very much. The majority of her career was at Celotex Corporation, as a receptionist/secretary, retiring in 1980.

She loved the ocean and seashore, and putting her feet in the sand. She loved to decorate her home, especially with her collection of seashells and turtles, as well as her embroideries of children by the shore.

Another hobby was to go into the woods and bring back moss, stones, and branches to make terrariums and flower arrangements. She also was a talented artist in pencils, charcoal, and pen drawings.

She loved and cherished her circle of friends and family, and missed them greatly when they passed on, making new friends at the Northumberland Senior Center.

Dolores is survived by her daughters, Stephanie and husband Ron Nimblett of Palmerton, Linda and husband Terry Boos of Lewisburg, and Leslie Rittoper and her granddaughter Kimberly of Northumberland.
