Debbie Ann Hackenburg, 58, of Selinsgrove, passed away Sunday, August 12, 2018, at Overlook Medical Center, Summit, N.J.

She was born July 29, 1960, in Sunbury, a daughter of Darwin Boyer, of Lewisburg and the late Anna (Strohecker) Boyer. On Oct. 12, 1990, she married Tim Hostetter.

Deb graduated from Mifflinburg High School.

She was employed at Buffalo Valley Lutheran Village, Lewisburg.

She attended Danville First Baptist Church.

Debbie enjoyed taking care of her granddaughters and looked forward to family events and family vacations.

In addition two her husband and father, she is survived by one daughter, Desiree, wife of Nick Vincenzes; two stepdaughters, Veronica Ingram and Wendy Cook; three sisters, Bonnie Wesstrom, Wanda Kramer and Sandy Boyer; one brother, Darwin Boyer Jr.; two granddaughters, Kennedy and Klaire Vincenzes; two stepgrandchildren, Summer Ingram and Becca Cook; as well as nieces and nephews

A visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday, Aug. 20, at First Baptist Church of Danville; 12 Brookside Drive, Danville, followed by a Celebration of Life service at 11, with the Rev. Dawes Dunham officiating.

Interment will be at Himmel's Cemetery, Rebuck.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, P.O. Box 5028, Haggerstown, MD 21741-5028 for Research, or to the American Cancer Society Hope Lodge, Jerome L. Greene Family Center, 132 West 32nd St., New York, NY 10001.
