David T. Craig Sr. Obituary
Milton - David T. Craig Sr., 86, of Milton passed away on Saturday, May 2, 2026, at Gino J. Merli Veteran Center, Scranton.
Born in Lewisburg on June 3, 1939, he was the son of the late Calvin C. and Melissa A. (Edkin) Craig. He was married to the former Helen Jean Hackenberg. Together they celebrated 63 years of marriage.
David retired from the US Army after 22 years of service. He also worked for Con Agra. He enjoyed hunting, especially with black powder, enjoyed traveling and was a member of the Milton VFW. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In addition to his wife Helen, he is survived by three sons Thomas L. Craig and his wife Elaine of Danville, Michael E. Craig and his wife Karen of Lancaster, and David T. Craig Jr of South Carolina; a daughter Kathleen Biddinger of Lewisburg; five grandchildren, Jason Craig and his wife Jennifer, Brandon Biddinger, Katelyn Cooper and her husband Lamar, Ashley Craig and her fiancé Christopher Warden, and Sarah Biddinger and her companion Michael Thomas, and seven great-grandchildren, Malachi, Nakaiyah, Connor, Kylie, Olivia, Kamiyah, Niyah.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Charles Craig.
Graveside services with military honors will be held on Friday, May 8, 2026, at 11 a.m. in Milton Cemetery with Rev. Dawes J. Dunham officiating.
Arrangements are under the care of the Shaw Funeral Home 400 N. Front St. Milton.
