David was a dedicated farmer and mechanic. He worked for over 40 years as a mechanic for Wehry Brothers Hog and Grain Farm. He taught many employees mechanic and farming skills while serving his employer loyally. David farmed his own land mostly with crops of corn and soybeans. He was a great steward of the land and took immense pride in being part of the farming community.

Family meant everything to David. He was "Pap" to many and cherished every moment spent with his grandchildren. Supporting their athletic, academic and competitive endeavors brought him great joy. Whether from the softball and baseball fields, the volleyball and basketball courts, or the wrestling mats in the gym, he was the loudest, proudest fan. He will now be watching his grandchildren from the best seat in the house!
David was an avid outdoorsman who loved turkey and deer hunting, fishing, camping and spending time outdoors.
David will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
