David L. Clough Obituary
Lewisburg - David Lamar Clough, 93 of Lewisburg, died July 8, 2025, at Buffalo Valley Lutheran Village.
He was born Sept. 30, 1931, in Wiconisco, Dauphin County, Pa., the son of Arthur and Ruth Clough. On Feb. 15, 1964, he married the former Elizabeth Welker, who is now deceased.
David was a graduate of Wiconisco High School and Wharton Evening School of Accounting and Finance. He served two years in the U.S. Army (1952-1954), stationed at Fort Sill, Oklahoma.
He worked for 36 years at the U.S. Navy Ships Parts Control Center in Mechanicsburg, Pa., retiring with the Department of the Navy's Superior Civilian Service Award. Additionally, David managed and owned two H&R Block tax offices in Lykens and Millersburg, Pa., for numerous years.
He served on the Church Council and the Human Services Board of Saint Christopher Lutheran Church in Lykens, Pa.
Dave is survived by one daughter, Amy Elizabeth Bohner and husband (Tom), Lansdale, Pa.; two grandchildren, Steven Bohner (Crystal) of Cosby, Tenn., and Emily Bohner of Conshohocken, Pa.; a great-granddaughter (Vanessa) and her son (Theo), and one sister, Joan Wiest.
His wife, Elizabeth, predeceased him, as did his brothers, Arthur and John Clough.
Services will be private at the family's convenience.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to St Christopher Evangelical Lutheran Church, Lykens, Pa., 17048.
