Herndon, Pennsylvania - Dartha E. Wilhour, 86, of Herndon, passed away Monday, Oct. 14, 2024, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
She was born March 25, 1938, in Dalmatia, a daughter of late Charles and Effie (Billow) Deppen. Dartha worked at several area manufacturing facilities.
She was a member of New Life EC Church, Herndon. Dartha enjoyed spending time with her three granddaughters, watching wildlife on the farm and watching Wheel of Fortune.
Dartha is survived by two sons, David Wilhour, Scott (Tara) Wilhour; daughter, Diane Wilhour all of Sunbury; granddaughters, Tysha, Tyahva, and Takia Wilhour; great-grandson, Tavyn Scott Wilhour; three brothers, Ken (Mary) Deppen of Elizabethville, Ronald Deppen of Millersburg, Roger Deppen of Elwood, Kansas; two sisters, Barbara (Lamar) Walborn of Berrysburg, Debbie Clark of Rebuck, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Robert O. Wilhour; and a brother, Dennis.
A viewing will be held Saturday, Oct. 19, from 10 to 11 a.m. at New Life EC Church, Herndon, where funeral service will follow at 11 a.m.
Interment will take place in the Herndon Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to New Life EC Church.
