Darrell W. Troxell Sr.
Darrell W. Troxell Sr., 80, of Sassafras Street, Beavertown, passed away on Saturday, Nov. 30, 2019, at his home surrounded by his family.
He was born July 21, 1939, in Peru, Ind., a son of the late Arthur W. and Mildred L. (McCain) Troxell. On March 25, 2006, he married Wanda J. (Shiffer) Troxell who survives.

Darrell graduated from Wabash High school in Indiana.
He had worked as a pipefitter for Standard Steel in Lewistown from where he retired.
Darrell attended Wayside Bible Church in Middleburg.
In his spare time he enjoyed golfing, gardening, woodworking, fishing and hunting, reading and watching his Western's.

Surviving in addition to his wife are three sons and daughters-in-law, Danny and Connie Troxell of Prestonburg, Ky., Wayne and Jeri Troxell of Beaver Springs, and Darrell Jr. and Cindy Troxell of Middleburg; one stepson, Jason Benfer and his wife Shannon of Beavertown; two daughters and one son-in-law, Tinna and Joey Sammons of Martin, Ky.; and Michelle Snyder of Hagerstown, Md.; nine grandchildren, Ryan, Jeremy, Chad, Brandy, Tyler, Courtney, Logan, Dakota and Katrina; seven great- grandchildren; and three nephews and one beloved niece, Debbie Harp.
He was preceded in death in addition to his parents by his brother, Lamoine Troxell.

Friends and family will be received from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 5, at the Pheasant Funeral Home, 130 S. Zechman St., Beavertown, followed by the funeral at 11, with the Rev. Timothy Reich officiating.
Burial will follow in the Troxelville Union Cemetery.

Enjoyed golfing with him at Myrtle Beach.
