Milton - Cynthia (Cindy) M. Catherman, 68, of Mahoning Street, Milton, passed away peacefully on July 23, 2026. Born in West Mahanoy on Aug. 15, 1957, she was the daughter of the late Donald and Marie (Morba) Lindner.

Cindy was a 1975 graduate of Milton High School. She served as the administrator at Milton Developmental Services for 40 years. She had a special interest and appreciation for nature, animals, outdoors and found tranquility in the woods.

She is survived by a son, Jason Frett and wife, Diane and grandson Nicholas; a daughter, Sara Catherman; a sister, Donna Chrismer and husband, Scott; a niece Ashley Bilger; a nephew Jacob Bilger and wife Jessie. She was lovingly referred to as "Grancy" by Nicholas. She enjoyed making delicious home cooked meals for her family and friends. During holidays, she especially loved making all types of cookies with her grandson, Nicholas. She loved her Latte runs with her daughter, Sara.

She was a wonderful Mom who thought of her children's needs before her own. Though she is no longer physically here, her memories and influence as a caring and generous mother lives on.

A funeral mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 14, at St. Joseph Church, 109 Broadway St., Milton. with the Rev. Dennis Dalessandro officiating. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery.
