Clarence Authur Swanger Obituary

Clarence Arthur Swanger, of Manassas, VA passed away on November 20, 2023 surrounded by his loving family.


He was born in Lewisburg, PA to Harold and Beatrice Swanger on November 14, 1953. During high school he was an all around athlete, playing several sports. He also met his forever sweetheart, Nancy Jean Klinetob. They married and moved to Virginia where they started CNS Carpenters. Over the years he built houses and friendships that lasted a lifetime. Clarence was very active in the church and also served in music ministry along side his wife and dear friends in the group Rosewood.


He is survived by his mother Beatrice Swanger, brother Melvin (Cindy) both of Lewisburg, PA, brother Ronald (Lorene) of Gilbert, SC, sisters Julie Fedder of Inman, SC and Geri Beth Riden (Rob) of Berlin, MD.


He is also survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Nancy Swanger of Manassas, sons Adam (Michelle) of Fredericksburg and Jeremy (Stephanie) also of Manassas. Grandchildren Brandon Larrabee (Renee), Samantha Swanger, Olivia and Gabrielle Swanger and great granddaughter Cameryn Larrabee.
