Pillow, Pennsylvania - Clarence G. Schreffler, 84, of Pillow, passed away Sunday, Dec. 15, 2024, at the Mountain View Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Coal Township.

He was born Sept. 8, 1940, in Dornsife, a son of the late Florence and David Schreffler. He served in the Army during from 1959 to 1962.

He was a member of the Gratz VFW, Millersburg Legion, and Northumberland Gun Club. Clarence enjoyed hunting, fishing, farming, going to breakfast with his friends and spending time with his grandchildren and family.

Clarence is survived by his wife, Shirley Schreffler; three sons, Greg (Carmen) Schreffler of Harleysville, Brian Schreffler of Herndon, and David (Sarah) Schreffler of Manheim; brother, Mark (Judy) Schreffler of Nebraska; four sisters, Leah Lesher of Millersburg, Linda Scheib of Millersburg, Sue Ann Stiley of Sunbury, and Deb Schreffler Kish of Dillsburg; 11 grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by brothers, Robert, Dean, Jim, Phil, Dale, Glenn, and Gene; and sisters, Renee and Ruth.

A viewing will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 23, at the James A. Reed Funeral Home, Pillow, followed by the funeral service at 11.

Interment will take place in the Union Cemetery, Herndon.
