Christine A. Strout
Christine A. Strout, 72, of Milton, passed away on Friday, Oct. 18, 2019, at her home.
She was born Oct. 6, 1947, in Johnstown, a daughter of Evelyn F. (Glass) Smith of Milton and the late Francis J. Smith. She was married to Gregory Strout for14 years until his death in 2007.

Christine was a 1965 graduate of Johnstown High School and a 1982 graduate of the Danville Nursing School.
She retired from the Pennsylvania State Health System working as an LPN at both Selinsgrove Center and Harrisburg State Hospital.
She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Milton.
Christine enjoyed spending time with her family.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by three children, Jeffrey Diggan and his wife Mindy of Milton, Eric Diggan and his wife Amy of Sinking Spring, and Michele Rishel of Coal Township; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and one sister, Linda Koziol of Milton.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 27, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Milton, with the Rev. John D. Hoke officiating. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Christine's favorite charity, St. Jude Children's Hospital at www.stjude.org.
