Mifflinburg - Chris S. Stoltzfus, 87, of Mifflinburg, passed away Wednesday morning, April 30, 2025, at his home.

He was born June 8, 1937, in West Earl, a son of the late Amos and Katie Stoltzfus. On Nov. 3, 1959, he married Priscilla K. Stoltzfus.

Chris was a member of the Shekinah Christian Fellowship, Middleburg.

Surviving in addition to his wife of 65 years, are five sons, Wilmer (Mary) of Lewisburg, George (Priscilla) of Millmont, Nathan (Martha) of Mifflinburg, Mahlon (Ruth) of Mt. Airy, North Carolina, and Amos (Shaunda) of Meadville; four daughters, Katie Beiler of Port Royal, Sara Ellen (Lloyd) Stoltzfus of Port Royal, Anna Mary (Isaac) Stoltzfus of Swanton, Maryland, and Linda (Wayne) Gerber of Fairview, Michigan; four brothers, John D. (Katie), Levi (Sadie), Stephen (Malinda), and Amos (Naomi); three sisters, Fannie Lapp, Rebecca (Daniel) Beiler, and Rachel (Gideon) Beiler; two brothers-in-law, Benuel Stoltzfus and Eli Lapp; 57 grandchildren; and 38 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one son-in-law, John Beiler; grandson, David Michael Beiler; brother, Jacob Stoltzfus; sisters, Lizzie Stoltzfus, Mary (Dan) Petersheim, and Katie Lapp; and brother-in-law, Alvin Lapp.

The viewing will be from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., Friday, May 2, at the Shekinah Christian Fellowship, 592 Smith Road, Middleburg, where the funeral will be conducted Saturday, May 3, at 10 a.m., with Pastors Dave Beiler, Ivan Stoltzfus, Elmer Stoltzfus and Andrew Zook officiating.

Interment will be in Shekinah Christian Fellowship Cemetery.
