Cheryl Ann Beeler Obituary

Cheryl Ann Beeler, 80, of Sunbury, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 22, 2025, at Lighthouse Senior Living in Ellicott City, Md.


She was the daughter of the late R. Elwood and Pauline (Gottshall) Erdman, wife of the late Dixon Beeler, and companion of the late Fred Keely.


She was the executive director of the Sunbury Area Chapter of the American Red Cross, volunteer to the Haven Ministry shelter of Sunbury, and a volunteer and leader at Zion Lutheran Church of Sunbury.


Cheryl was preceded in death by infant daughter, Kathy Ray; and sister, Peggy Deitz.


She is survived by son, Ronald Ray; and Fred and Dixon's families.


Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 31, at Zion Lutheran Church, 5th and Market streets, Sunbury.


Burial will be in Pomfret Manor Cemetery, Sunbury. A funeral luncheon will follow at the church.


In lieu of flowers, donations in Cheryl's memory may be made to American Red Cross disaster relief, Haven Ministry (https://www.havenministrypa.org/), or Zion Lutheran Church.


Arrangements are by the Blank Funeral Home, 395 State St., Sunbury.
