Herndon, PA - Charlotte Romaine Bingaman (Straub) born in Gratz on August 6, 1938 to the late John Adam Straub and Lottie Mae Straub (Leitzel) passed away at her home on August 5, 2025. Charlotte was a 1956 graduate of Upper Dauphin Joint. She married David Albert Bingaman on June 21, 1958 and together they had two daughters Pamela Zilinski (Bingaman) and Angela Novinger (Bingaman).

Charlotte retired from JB's shoe factory. She was a member for over 50 years at David's UCC where she taught Sunday school, Bible school, sang in the choir, and belonged to the women of the church where she assisted with the annual Chow Chow making and chicken BBQ. Charlotte enjoyed spending time with her family, crafting, sewing, yard saling, gardening, dancing, and singing.

Charlotte is survived by her husband of 67 years David Albert Bingaman. Daughters Pamela (Jack) Zilinski and Angela (Brian) Novinger. Brother in law Jim Witmer and sister in law Grace Straub. Her 5 grandchildren John David Zilinski, Jesse Zilinski, Hunter Novinger, Hanna (Emery) Ramberger (Novinger), and Jamie Zilinski. One great grandson Macklin Ramberger. As well as many nieces and nephews. Charlotte was preceded in death by her parents John Adam and Lottie Mae (Leitzel) Straub, siblings: Marlin (Elsie) Straub, Robert Straub, Ken (Alice) Straub, Lester (Marion) Straub, Bud (Naomi) Straub, Laura (Ed) Straub, Mildred Laudenslager (Herman), Gladys Shultz (Palmer), Mary Messner (Martin), and Barbara Strawser (Dale).

The family would like to specially thank Sheila Zito, Melissa Gutshall, and Geisinger Hospice for assisting in Charlotte's care.

A visitation will be held on August 9, 2025 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at David's UCC, Hebe. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, August 9, 2025, at 11:00 am at the David's UCC, Hebe. Interment will take place in the David's Church Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to David's UCC, Herndon.
