Carol L. Ward
Carol L. Ward, 75, of Mifflinburg, entered into rest on Friday, Feb. 7, 2020, at her residence.

Born on Aug. 19, 1944, in Sunbury, She was a daughter of the late Kenneth M. and Grace I. (Hedrick) Rupp. On Nov. 8, 1964, she married Karl Ward who preceded her in death.

She graduated from Selinsgrove High School class of 1963.

Carol worked as an aide at RiverWoods Nursing Home. Earlier in life she worked at the former Milton Shoe Factory.

She was a member of Church of Christ In Christian, Lewisburg.

Carol was a wonderful baker and always enjoyed baking for family and friends.

Surviving are six siblings and spouses, Kenneth M. Jr. and Wanda Rupp of Danville, Sandra and Hiram Wida of Fishers, Ind., Janice and Jim Walterick of Shamokin, Paul Sr. and Sonya Rupp of Mifflinburg, Ronald and Deb Rupp of Shamokin Dam and Tim and Jackie Rupp of Northumberland. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to the viewing from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 11, at Church of Christ In Christian,199 Newman Road, Lewisburg, where the funeral will follow at 11 a.m. with Pastor Harry Harter officiating.

Interment will be in Orchard Hills Cemetery, Shamokin Dam.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Carol`s memory may be sent to the Church of Christ In Christian,199 Newman Road, Lewisburg.

Sorry to hear about Carol. We just started recently being in touch through FB. We have wondered how she was through the years. We don't get up in that area anymore. I'm glad we got together for a little while. God Bless Her. She made some great cookies!
