Mifflintown - Carol J. McAllister, 77, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 12, 2025, at Brookline Manor, Mifflintown.

Carol was born April 21, 1948, in Sunbury a daughter of the late John and Mary (Heimbach) Neidig.

She was a 1966 graduate of Sunbury High School.

Carol was a member St. Luke's Lutheran Church of Sunbury.

She was a loving mother and grandmother, she loved cats and Nascar and would name her cats after race car drivers.

Carol was a member of the Friendship Hose Company of Sunbury.

She is survived by her two sons and daughters-in-law Rodney and Ruby McAllister, Zachary and Jenny McAllister; her daughter and son-in-law Tami and Philip Moody; granddaughters Kelsie, Haily (Andrew), Madison, Adelyn, Emma and Quinlin; one brother and sister-in-law David and Joan Neidig and brother-in-law John McAllister.

A viewing will be held Monday, Aug. 18, from 10 to 11 a.m. at the Blank Funeral Home, 395 State St., Sunbury, where the funeral service will be held at 11 with Rev. Andrew Weaver officiating.

Burial will follow in the United Lutheran Church Cemetery, Sunbury.
