Sunbury, Pennsylvania - Carl "Jack" R. Klock Jr., 90, of Sunbury, passed away Sunday, April 26, 2026.


Jack was born on Aug. 28, 1935, the son of the late Carl and Kathryn (Lagosky) Klock.


He graduated from Sunbury High School and went on to serve in the Army during the Korean War. Jack was a machinist and worked in various local shops, retiring from QE Manufacturing in 2000.


A man of few words, Jack was a hard worker, one of his most proud accomplishments was the house that he built from the footer to the peak of the roof with help from his brothers. In his retirement, he restored a 1929 Ford Model "A" Roadster pickup that remains in the family.


He was an avid hunter who enjoyed hunting with his brothers and nephews (the Klock hunting gang). He was also a member of Club 300, a hunting cabin near Nordmont, Pa.


Surviving are brothers, Randy (Linda) and Dave (Deb), sister, Janet Neidig and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother, Ken and his wife, Shirley, and brother-in-law, Jack Neidig.


Family and friends may participate in a graveside service at 1 p.m., Friday, May 1, in the Northumberland Memorial Park, Stonington.


Arrangements are by the Blank Funeral Home, 395 State St., Sunbury.
