RICHFIELD — Carl L. Adam, 54, of Pine Swamp Road, passed away on Sunday, June 22, 2014, at Evangelical Community Hospital, Lewisburg. He was born June 11, 1960, in Kutztown, a son of the late Ernest and Helen (Kerchner) Adam. Carl attended Fleetwood High School and West Snyder High School. He was a farmer his whole life. He previously had been a dairy farmer and was a produce farmer at the time of his passing. In his spare time, Carl was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed trapping. Surviving are three brothers and two sisters-in-law, Kenneth and Donna Adam, of Moselum Springs, Ernest and Kathy Adam, of Wisconsin, and David Adam, of Richfield; and three sisters and two brothers-in-law, Esther Adam, of Richfield, Brenda and Seth Grenoble, of McClure, and Darlene and Wes Weader, of Middleburg. He was preceded in death by one sister, Dale Angstadt. A memorial service will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are by the Pheasant Funeral Home, 316 W. Market St., Beavertown.
