Brian "Gomer" Keith Bordner, 60, of Dornsife, passed away unexpectedly at his residence on Feb. 22, 2025.

He was the beloved husband of Julie Rebuck, sharing more than 15 years of loving marriage. Born on July 8, 1964, in Harrisburg, he was a son of the late Ernest Sr. and Alma (Strohecker) Bordner.

Gomer was a 1984 graduate of Line Mountain High School. His career journey included roles from truck driving, masonry work, to his long-held position as a maintenance man for MI Windows & Doors. Gomer attended David's UCC Church in Hebe and was a member of the Pillow Rod & Gun Club in Glenn Union.

Known for his love of the great outdoors, Gomer was an avid hunter and fisherman who felt most at peace while exploring nature. He had a talent for cooking and enjoyed clamming with family and friends. His ability to fix anything that was broken made him the go-to person within his circle, along with his enduring habit of checking in on everyone to make sure they were well cared for.

Above all, Gomer cherished time spent with his family. He is survived by his wife, Julie Rebuck; son, Coty Bordner and his girlfriend Doris Attinger, and his son Mason; daughter, Chelsea Gros, her husband Chris, and their children Deacon and Emberly; step-daughter Heather Anderson, her husband Matt, and their children Aubrey and Landen; siblings Beverly Morgan, Deborah Heim, Ernest Bordner Jr., Lorraine Thomas, Tina Fetter, Tim Bordner, Chris Bordner, and Jill Reed, and all of their families.

A celebration of Gomer's life will be held on Saturday, March 1, 2025, at 2 p.m. at David's UCC Church, 1907 Klingerstown Road, Herndon, PA 17830.

Visitation hours will be from 1 to 2 p.m. and the celebration of life service will follow. Arrangements have been entrusted to Foust Funeral Home, LLC., Trevorton, Ryan G. Foust, supervisor. A memory tribute may be placed at www.foustcares.com.
