Mifflinburg, Pennsylvania - Boyd Eugene Ross Sr., 88, of Mifflinburg, entered into rest at 12:35 a.m. on Saturday, April 18, 2026, at Geisinger Medical Center.


Born on March 16, 1938, in Snow Shoe, he was the son of the late James Melvin "Casey" Ross and Mary Kathryn (Snyder) Ross. He married the former Dorothy Moll Ross, who preceded him in death. Together, they shared many years of love and cherished memories.


Boyd worked at the former Pennsylvania House Furniture in Lewisburg before going on to own and operate Ross's Junkyard.


He had a lifelong love of old cars and enjoyed hunting as well as watching deer and wildlife from his yard.


Surviving are his children: John Hoover, of Mifflinburg, Ronald Ross, of Mount Carmel, Boyd Ross Jr., of Mifflinburg, Pam Ross, of Mifflinburg, and Melvin Casey Ross, of Mifflinburg; grandchildren Michael Ross, David Ross, Casandra Ross and Amanda Catherman; and two great-grandchildren, Dracen Briner and Taylin Briner.


He was preceded in death by his brothers, Thomas L. Ross, William A. Ross, and James L. Ross and his sister, Margarent "Peg" Keiser.


Family and friends are invited to the viewing from 2 to 3 p.m. on Friday at Dominick T. Adamo Funeral Home, 16 Walnut St., Mifflinburg. A graveside service will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery, Mifflinburg.
