Lewisburg, Pennsylvania - Billie Jean (Hughes) Price, 78, of Lewisburg, departed this life Sunday, Jan. 7, 2024, surrounded by family at Buffalo Valley Lutheran Village.


Billie Jean was born Feb. 19, 1945, in McCorkle, W.Va.


Billie Jean was an avid volunteer. For over 30 years she held numerous positions in the Boy Scouts of America, in addition to serving in her church and Girl Scouts. She also was a talented artist.


Billie Jean was a beloved wife, mother, aunt, grandmother, and friend.


She is survived by her husband, Clayton Price; children, John Price, Susan Price and Tammy Badger (Doug); nephew, Dell Conley (Shelly); and grandchildren, Aaron, Drake and Clara.


She was preceded in death by her mother, Susie Hughes; father, William Shivelier, and sister, Linda Kay Scott.


A viewing will be held at 6 p.m. Friday, Jan. 12, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 2294 Ridge Road, Northumberland, followed by funeral services at 7 p.m.
