Beverly Kay (Beaver) Frank of San Antonio, Texas, passed away on Dec. 26, 2017. She was born Oct. 30, 1940, a daughter of the late M. Fredrick "Fred" and Laura (Leitzel) Beaver in Penn Township, Snyder County, Pa.

Beverly was the youngest of 18 children. She is survived by two children, Helen A. Frank of San Antonio, and Thomas Frank Jr. of Yorba Linda, Calif.; sisters, Mary Bolig of Selinsgrove, Pa., Phyllis Ray of Warrington, Va., Ina Davis of Pinellas Park, Fla., Hope Street of Trout Run, Pa.; brothers, Fred (Bea) Beaver of Moorehead City, N.C., Dale (Nancy) Beaver of Selinsgrove, and Donald (Madge) Beaver of Havelock, N.C ., and Dean Beaver of Harrisburg, Pa.

Beverly was preceded in death by two brothers and seven sisters.

After her mother passed away, Beverly lived with her sister's family Mary and Charles Bolig in Selinsgrove. She graduated from Selinsgrove High School in 1958 and Geisinger School of Nursing in 1961.

She was a registered nurse for 56 years and many of those years she specialized in oncology.

She was a recipient of the American Cancer Society Lane Adams Award, one of 19 RN's in the country recognized for expertise in clinical nursing.

A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Friday, July 20, at the Salem Grove Pavilion in Salem, Pa.
