Middleburg - Betty Jean Ciotti, 82, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Aug. 30, 2026. She was born on June 7, 1944, in Lewisburg, Pa., a daughter of the late Reuel and Florence (Reichenbach) Walter.

BJ was a 1962 graduate of Middleburg Joint High School. After high school, she was employed by the Beaver Springs Shoe Factory until the birth of her daughter. In April 0f 1976 she and her then-husband opened the Such & Stuff Shop in the basement of her home in Middleburg, having five locations throughout most of Central Pa.

She was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene in Mifflinburg and later attended the Beavertown God's Missionary Church.

Although she enjoyed doing search & find puzzles, reading and birdwatching, she had a heart for people.

BJ is survived by her daughter, Charity Hoffman and her husband Dennis of Selinsgrove and her grandson Isaac Hoffman, who was her joy.

As per her wishes, there will be no services.
