Selinsgrove, Pennsylvania - Bette D. (Clark) Bodmer, 86, of Selinsgrove, died on Saturday, August 30, 2025, at the Mansion Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Sunbury.

She was born in Selinsgrove on July 18, 1939, and was the daughter of the late Elwood and Matilda Clark.

Bette worked at the local telephone company in Selinsgrove from where she retired after many years of service. She loved taking bus trips to travel around the country and was an animal lover with a special fondness for cats. She was a passionate auto racing fan and loved to attend the races at Selinsgrove Speedway.

Bette is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law; Brian and Kathleen Bodmer of San Jose, CA; Dr. David Bodmer of Selinsgrove; one granddaughter and one grandson; Matilda Bodmer and Donovan Bodmer, both of San Jose, CA; one brother, Edgar Clark of Selinsgrove; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

A visitation will be held on Friday, September 5 from 10-11 am at the V.L. Seebold Funeral Home, 601 N. High St., Selinsgrove followed by the funeral at 11 with Rev. Charles Melton officiating.

Burial will be held in Salem Lutheran Cemetery, Selinsgrove.
