Bernice Romaine (Rowe) Klinger, 88, of Selinsgrove, passed away peacefully at her home in the early morning hours of Saturday, May 16, 2020, after spending the day with her family.

She was born Jan. 1, 1932, in Kreamer, the only child of the late Paul E. and Katie Naomi (Walter) Rowe.

Surviving children include, Keith A. and Deb Klinger of Duncannon, Dennis R. and Cathy Klinger, Carol J. McCreary and her companion Paul Hackenberg, Terry L. Klinger and his companion Ruth Kline, Tina Mull, and Paul J. Klinger and his companion Leanne Lauver, all of Selinsgrove. Grandma also leaves behind her grandchildren, Tracy, Joseph, Karen, Jen, Heather, Chris, James, Tiffany, Kristi, Chad, Steven, Stephanie, Amanda, Paul Jr., Jessica, Trudy, and Adam; several dozen great-grandchildren, and several great-great-grandchildren. Grandma loved the little ones.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Grant E. Klinger; daughter and son-in-law, Sherry L. and Wayne Beaver; son-in-law, Ronald Mull; and grandsons, Mike Beaver and Jeremy G. Klinger.

Bernice had many extended family and friends all over Central Pennsylvania and beyond. She knew and was known by many. She will be remembered for her long conversations on the phone. She always fed anyone who came to visit and took in many who had no place to stay. She had a caring ear and always gave wise advice.

Funeral services will be private.

Burial will be in Globe Mills Cemetery, Middleburg, with Pastor Butch Woolsey officiating.
