Harrisburg, Pennsylvania - Bernard M. Mihalik, 92, of Harrisburg, passed peacefully with his daughter by his side, Monday, March 8, 2021, at St. Ann's Retirement Community.

Mr. Mihalik was born in Shamokin and was the son of the late Michael and Agnes Mihalik. He retired from AMP after 26 years as a tool maker. He was a founding member of Holy Name of Jesus Church, Harrisburg and the Funeral Mass Ministry. He also delivered Meals on Wheels. He was a life member of West End Fire Company, Shamokin, Knights of Columbus and VFW of Shellsville. He was a veteran of US Army.

Mr. Mihalik was predeceased by his wife, Helen J. Mihalik; his daughter, Ann Marie Orris; and his brothers, Michael Mihalik, John Mihalik, Gilbert Mihalik and Thomas Mihalik.

Mr. Mihalik is survived by his daughter, Debra M. Mihalik of Hummelstown; his son‑in‑law, Randall Orris of Middletown; his sister, Betty; as well as many friends, nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 16, at Holy Name of Jesus Roman Catholic Church, 6150 Allentown Blvd., Harrisburg. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery, at the convenience of the family. Due to COVID, there will be no visitation or graveside service. The family understands and encourages you to attend in spirit.

I know my Dad (as well as I) would like to thank the staff at St. Anne's who have been so kind and took excellent care of him.
