With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Barry Lynn Aucker Jr. on Feb. 21, 2025.

He was born on April 12, 1968 at Lewistown Hospital in Lewistown, Pa. to Barry Aucker Sr. and Helen (Benfer) Aucker, who survive.

He was a 1986 graduate of West Snyder High School and attended Sun Tech where he got his Masonry Certification.

Barry was a dedicated and hardworking man and was employed at Apex Homes LLC for 30 years. He took pride in his work and was known for his strong work ethic and kindness. More than anything, he cherished his family and time spent with his children and grandchildren.

He is survived by his loving children: daughter Natasha (Aucker) and husband, Ross Dock, daughter Merissa Aucker and boyfriend Anthony Sheaffer, sons Andrew and Zachary Aucker, all of Middleburg, daughter Bryanna Aucker, of Coal Township, and son Bradley Aucker, of Lewisburg. He was a proud grandfather to ten grandchildren: Nathaniel, Bentlee, McKenzyee, Leo, Liam, Kyler, Hayden, Carson, Jason and Abel. He is also survived by five siblings.

He is preceded in death by son-in-law Derrick Shirk, his grandparents, Henry and Leda (Stere) Benfer and Luther Aucker and Anna (Bingaman) Perkinson, and an uncle John Aucker.

Barry will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. His memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved him.

There will be no funeral services but a celebration of his life will be announced at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to help defray final expenses.
