Barry M. "Mike" Anderson, 68, of Turbotville, passed away Friday, Oct. 18, 2024, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.

Born May 7, 1956, in Lewisburg, he was the son of the late Martin L. Jr., and Dorothy M. (Wagner) Anderson. On May 3, 1986, he married the former Lynne S. Sheatler and they have celebrated 38 years of marriage.

He was a 1974 graduate of Warrior Run High School and employed at PennDOT for over 25 years. Earlier he was a truck driver for Aetna and Ligon.

Mike was a member of Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, Turbotville, and was currently serving on the church council.

He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying hunting, fishing, and riding motorcycles. He was also a fan of the Green Bay Packers.

Surviving besides his wife, Lynne Anderson, at home, are a son, Patrick M. Anderson and his wife Dawn of New Berlin; a daughter, Brandi N. Anderson of Pittsburgh; three grandchildren, Colby Anderson and his wife Haley, Kimberly Anderson, and Jordan Raye Anderson; and a sister, Laurie A. Anderson and her spouse Kris of Northumberland.

Preceding him in death besides his parents was a brother, Mark Anderson.

Family and friends are invited to a visitation on Saturday, Nov. 2, from 10 to 11 a.m. at Zion Lutheran Church, 39 Paradise St., Turbotville where a memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. with his pastor, the Rev. Erwin C. Roux officiating
