Lewisburg - Barbara Ann Beech, 91, formerly of Lewisburg, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, at 6:20 p.m. on Wednesday, July 22, 2026, at Emmanuel Home in Northumberland.

She was born on Feb. 19, 1935, in Norristown, Pennsylvania, a daughter of the late Leroy and Hannah (Reynolds) Watters. On Oct. 29, 1955, she married Paul J. Beech Jr., in Norristown. He preceded her in death on Jan. 9, 2021. Barbara missed her husband deeply and looked forward with joyful anticipation to being reunited with him in Heaven.

Barbara was a graduate of Upper Merion High School and a faithful member of Hillside Bible Church in Mifflinburg.

She had a special gift for serving others. She faithfully served in the church kitchen ministry and volunteered with Child Evangelism Fellowship through the Good News Club ministry in Northumberland County. Hospitality was one of her passions. Whether welcoming family or visitors into her home, Barbara delighted in making others feel loved and cared for, often greeting them with the little candy and nut cups she thoughtfully prepared in advance.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Paul J. III and Mary Ann Beech of Richfield; her daughters and sons-in-law, Debrah L. and Albert Siegle of Limerick, and Donna L. and Jeffrey Moore of Winfield; nine grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren, with an 18th expected soon; and her brother-in-law, Jack Beech, and his spouse, Dan Wari.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Jennifer Lynn Siegle.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
