Harrisburg, Pennsylvania - Harrisburg, PA - Audrey K. Ritter, 96, previously of McClure, passed away on May 28, 2026, at Penn State Health Holy Spirit Medical Center in Camp Hill, PA. She was born on April 11, 1930, in Granville, Mifflin Co. PA, the daughter of the late Clyde Price Lyter and Sarah Margaret (Pecht) Lyter. On June 3, 1949, she married Orval Robert "Bob" Ritter who preceded her in death. Audrey was also preceded in death by brothers and sisters: Maurice Lyter, Jean Weikle, Grace Wieder, Wayne Lyter, Earl Lyter.

She graduated from McClure High School in 1948. After her marriage she helped to raise her family and was employed at Kirby Manufacturing Co., Inc. until she retired.

She was an active member of Trinity Lutheran Church, McClure. For many years she was an active member of the McClure Fire Co. where she helped with the Firemen's Carnival Pot Pie meals. Audrey enjoyed sewing, quilting, word puzzles, and reading. In the last years of her life, she sewed lap blankets for veterans.

Audrey is survived by two daughters and one son-in-law, Cindy L. McDaniel of York and Connie L. and Joseph Laudermilch of Hummelstown; four grandchildren; Erin McDaniel, Justin McDaniel, wife Lisa, Joshua Laudermilch, wife Marsha, Alison Lawyer, husband Richard, four great-grandchildren; Sydney and Peyton Laudermilch, Richard "V," and Kayla Lawyer.

A memorial service will be conducted on June 13 at 11 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church 6 W. Specht St. McClure, PA 17841, with Pastor Richard B. Geib officiating. Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m.

Private burial will be in McClure Union Cemetery.
