Antonio "Tony" Castellucci, 90, of 981 Woodrow Ave., Northumberland, passed away Monday, June 17, 2024, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.

He was born March 29, 1934, in San Giovanni Incarico, Italy, to the late Mr. and Mrs. Domenico and Concetta (Piacitelli) Castellucci.

On May 30, 1970, in Italy, Tony married Assunta "Tina" Stracqualursi, who survives. Tony worked at Gubin's Clothing and Shoes in Northumberland as a salesman and tailor for 22 years. In 1986, he opened Tony's Custom Tailor Shop on 4th Street in Sunbury, where he worked alongside his beloved wife, Tina, for 27 years, before retiring. Tony was an avid New York Yankees fan. He proudly served in the United States Army. As Tony loved to joke and say, "I'm going to live until I die."

In addition to his wife, Tony is survived by two daughters, Dina Caito and her husband Michael, and Lisa Castellucci and her husband Christopher Girardin, all of Rhode Island; a grandson, Nicholas Sammartino and his fiancé Jaimie LeGault; two granddaughters, Emily Sammartino and wife Krystin LeCompte and Gianna Caito; a step-granddaughter, Marilyn Jacobs; two step great-grandsons, Benjamin Jacobs and Caleb Jacobs; a sister, Gina Kurtz of Lewisburg; a sister-in-law, Clara Minella and her husband Sergio; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to his parents, Tony was preceded in death by a brother, Joseph Costello and his wife Mary; and three sisters, Elena Castellucci, Maria Carlevale and Anna Leonetta and her husband Giacinto.

A Funeral Mass will be held Wednesday, June 19, at 1 p.m. at St. Monica Parish, 109 Market St., Sunbury, with Rev. Fred Wangwe, AJ, officiating.

Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
