Selinsgrove - Annette O. "Nettie" Klingler, 89, of Selinsgrove, passed away on Monday, Aug. 24, 2026, at Watsontown Nursing & Rehabilitation.

She was born Sept. 7, 1936m in Northumberland a daughter of the late Mark and Mary (Stroup) Lahr. On June 20, 1955, she married Robert L. Snyder who preceded her in death on June 1, 1988. She later married Larry R. Klingler who also preceded her in death on Sept. 1, 2001.

Nettie was employed in housekeeping and as a patient aide for Blue Hill Nursing Home and retired after many years of service with RiverWoods, Lewisburg.

Mrs. Klingler was a member of Mountain View Community Church where she enjoyed playing her trombone.

She enjoyed solving wordsearch puzzles, canning vegetables and her favorite times were spent vacationing and sharing dinners with her family.

Nettie is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Clinton and Margi Snyder of New Columbia and Fla., Mark and Becky Snyder of Freeburg; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Leona Witmer of Sunbury, Beverly and Steven Merrick of Mifflinburg, Lois and Carl Missi of Jeffersonville, Ind.; two stepsons, Larry Klingler Jr. and wife Ruth and Lynn Klingler all of Selinsgrove; three stepdaughters, Jan Kessler and husband Chuck of Beavertown, Kelly Hauck and husband, Rick of Winfield and Kathy Radel and husband, Jeff of Selinsgrove; her many grandchildren, step-grandchildren, great-grandchildren, step-great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson; one brother and sister-in-law, John and Linda Lahr, two sisters, Noami Lawrence and Phyllis Pickering all of Sunbury.

She was preceded in death by sister, Treva Dockey and husband, Larry; brother, Mark Lahr and brothers-in-law, Jerry Lawrence and Thomas Pickering.

A viewing will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 1, 2026, from 10 to 11 a.m. at the Blank Funeral Home, 395 State St., Sunbury followed by funeral services at 11 with Pastor Pusey Losch officiating.

Burial will be in Shreiners Cemetery, Selinsgrove.
