Milton, Pennsylvania - Anna Mae Harpster, 101, formerly of Jefferson Street, Milton, passed away on Oct. 10, 2025, at Oak Glen in Lewisburg.
Born in Milton on Dec. 29, 1923, she was the daughter of the late Lloyd and Rosa (Hartman) Woodling. She was married to Donald R. "Sharkey" Harpster, who preceded her in death on Aug. 21, 2001.
Anna Mae was a 1942 graduate of Milton High School. She was an active member of the former Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church in Milton. She was a member of the Jr. Women's Club, the Women's Club in Milton, the Flower Club in West Milton, the Milton Historical Society, the Milton Booster Club, and the Milton Lighting Committee. She was a longtime volunteer at the Red Cross Bloodmobiles and at Evangelical Community Hospital. Anna Mae was a fan of Milton Athletics, Penn State and the Phillies.
She is survived by two sons, Jeffrey and Pamela Harpster, of Montandon, and Timothy and Victoria Harpster, of Milton; four grandchildren, W. Gerald Bastian, Misty L. Harris, Caitlin E. Harpster, and Taylor Harpster; and seven great-grandchildren.
Anna Mae was also preceded in death by a brother, Carroll Woodling, and a sister, Alice Dimler.
A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 21, in Harmony Cemetery, Milton. Officiating will be the Rev. Gary Schaeffer.
