Andrew L. Emrick
He was born Sept. 13, 1936, in Sunbury, a son of the late Leroy and Catherine (Kreider) Emrick. He was married for 59 years to the former Carol C. Crossle who survives.
Andy retired from Pickelner Fuel.
He was a member of Faith United Methodist Church, was a life member of the Willing Hand Hose Fire Company, Montoursville where he was a past president and treasurer, was a member and past financial secretary of the Pennsylvania Fire Association, and a member of the America's Hose Fire Company, in Sunbury.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Mike and Lisa Emrick of Sunbury; two daughters and sons-in-law, Michelle and Anthony Benner of Phoenxville, and Maxann and John Daugherty of Montoursville; and eight grandchildren.
He was preceded in deatth by one son, Mark; and one brother, Arthur.
A viewing for friends and family will be held from 1 to 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Spitler Funeral Home, 733 Broad St., Montoursville, followed by the funeral at 2, with Hospice Chaplain Robert D. Banner, officiating.
Interment will follow in Montoursville Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to the Montoursville Willing Hand Hose Fire Co., 821 Broad St., Montoursville, PA 17754, or to Geisinger Home Health and Hospice, 780 Broad St., Suite 4, Montoursville, PA 17754.
