Allen S. "Al" Wolfgang, 82, of Herndon, passed away Saturday, June 30, 2018, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.

Al was born DEc. 11, 1935, in Pitman, a son of the late Helen (Klinger) and Stanley Wolfgang.

He served in the U.S. Air Force from 1956-1960 and was stationed overseas in England and Germany.

He worked as a mechanic, a farmer, truck driver and was employed at Meckley's Limestone for many years.

He was a member of St. Paul's U.C.C Church, Urban and also a member of the American Legion Post 504 of Mandata.

Al enjoyed restoring old tractors.

Allen is survived by a sister, Mae Haussler of Herndon; two brothers, Earl, husband of Betty Wolfgang, of Dalmatia and Glenn, husband of Doris Wolfgang, of Tennessee; as well as nieces and nephews.

A viewing will be held from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Thursday, July 5, 2018 at the Stephen R. Rothermel Funeral Home, 1133 Ridge Road, Klingerstown. The funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Jeffrey A. Wagner officiating.

Interment will follow in St. Paul's U.C.C Cemetery, Herndon.
