William Timothy "Tim" Williams, 72, of Selinsgrove, passed away on Thursday, May 26, 2016, in the emergency room at Sunbury Community Hospital.
He was born Oct. 16, 1943, in Williamsport, a son of the late William S. and Maud E. (Johns) Williams.
Tim was a graduate of the Selinsgrove High School and the Williamsport Technical Institute where he received a degree in mechanical drafting. He was self-employed in the pelleting industry.
His memberships included the Shamokin Dam Fire Co., Dauntless Hook And Ladder Fire Co., Selinsgrove, and the Loyal Order of Moose #1173, Selinsgrove.
Tim was an avid golfer and loved the Susquehanna River. He would spend many hours walking along the river and observing the wildlife associated with it. His greatest joy was found in his grandchildren.
He is survived by two sons and one daughter-in-law, Scott T. and Kristen Williams, of Watkinsville, Ga., and Mark S. Williams, of Waverly Hall, Ga.; two grandchildren, Holly and Evan Williams; one brother, Brad S. Williams, of Mechanicsburg; and one sister, Lyn Baumbach, of Williamsport.
Friends and family will be received from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Tuesday for a viewing at the V.L. Seebold Funeral Home, 601 N. High St., Selinsgrove, followed by a life celebration service at 7 p.m.
