Warren W. "Bill" Bainer, 64, of Prospect Avenue, Milton, passed away on Monday, Oct. 31, 2016, at Evangelical Community Hospital, Lewisburg.
He was born Dec. 7, 1951, in Indiantown Gap, a son of the late Frank Bainer and the late Pearl (Sachs) Hommel. On July 6, 1998, he married the former Donna L. Boop who survives.
Bill attended Lewisburg schools and served in the Army during the Vietnam War.
He was employed at H. Warshow and Sons, Milton.
Bill attended the United Methodist Church at Buffalo Crossroads.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and campfires. He was a Steeler fan and a motorcycle enthusiast. Bill was a storyteller and he loved to spend time with his family.
He is survived by his wife Donna; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Cassandra (Holmes) and Ernest Lirrette, of Louisiana, Ashley (Holmes) and Thomas Watts, of Northumberland, and Brittany Wagner, of Milton; two brothers, Spike Hommel, of Williamsport, and Jim Hommel, of Turbotville; two sisters, Rose Gutelius, of Montandon, and Joyce Wagner, of Mifflinburg; and five grandchildren, Braden, Colby, Lainey, Taj, and Camberlin.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Joseph Hunt and John Bainer; one sister, Dolly Hommel; and his dog Haley.
Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers donations be made to the Shaw Funeral Home, 4oo N. Front St., Milton, PA 17847, to help defray expenses.
