Timothy J. "Slip" Moser, 64, of Winfield, passed away Saturday, Sept. 23, 2017, at Watsontown Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
He was born Feb. 12, 1953, in Lewisburg, a son of the late Jack and Faylene (Stuck) Moser. On Nov. 20, 1986, he married Mary Newton who survives. Together they celebrated 30 years of marriage.
Tim was a 1971 graduate of Lewisburg High School.
He retired in 1996 as a Deputy Warden from the Union County Prison. He also worked many years sanding floors for the Kerstetter Brothers.
Tim was an avid hunter and fisherman early in life, enjoying the outdoors. He was well known for the smile on his face, always looking to have a good time.
Surviving in addition to his wife are two brothers, Arthur Moser Sr. and his wife, Peg, of Lewisburg, and Robert Moser and his wife, Pat, of Chambersburg; one sister, Barbara Miller and her husband, Jon, of Harrisburg; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Friends will be received from 2 to 3 p.m. Friday, Oct. 13, at Cronrath-Grenoble Funeral Home, 106 S. Second St., Lewisburg, where a memorial service will be held at 3 p.m.
