Susan Arlene Snyder, 75, of Selinsgrove, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 11, 2017, at home surrounded by her loving family.
She was born Jan. 15, 1942, in Danville, a daughter of the late Robert F. and Mildred B. (Reick) Confer. On March 3, 1961, she married William K. Snyder who preceded her in death on June 7, 2000.
Susan was a 1959 graduate of Sunbury High School.
She was a member and on the kitchen committee at St. Paul's United Church of Christ, Selinsgrove, Women of the Selinsgrove Moose, and the Selinsgrove Veterans of Foreign Wars.
She is survived by her son, David K. Snyder, of Selinsgrove; her daughter, Lisa A. Krakovitz, of Selinsgrove; two grandchildren, Gwendolynn Mowrer and Chelsea Rager; and three great-grandchildren, Ethan, Gavin and Lucas Mowrer.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Lori A. Snyder.
A visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday at St. Paul's UCC, 400 N. Market St., Selinsgrove, followed by the funeral at 11, with the Rev. Dr. Dietmar Plajer officiating.
Private burial will be in Pomfret Manor Cemetery, Sunbury.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, 2405 Park Drive, Suite 100, Harrisburg, PA 17011.
Arrangements are by the V.L. Seebold Funeral Home, 601 N. High St., Selinsgrove.
