Scott Charles Rupert, 49, of Centertown Apartments, Milton, passed away on April 22, 2017, at his home.
He was born May 2, 1967, in Muncy, a son of Susan (Kleckner) Krebs and the late Ronald Rupert.
Scott was a 1985 graduate of Milton High School and a graduate of Hiram G. Andrews Center in Johnstown where he earned an associates degree in business. He also attended the Pennsylvania College of Technology in Williamsport.
Scott previously worked at Petro's Truck Stop in Milton.
He was a member of St. Andrew's United Methodist Church, Milton.
Scott bowled for the Imperial Lanes Boys Traveling League in his youth. He was an avid fan of Penn State football, the WWE and Drum Corps International Eastern Classic. He enjoyed movies, music, all sports on television, and playing games with his family and on the computer.
He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Susan and John Krebs, of Merritt Island, Fla.; three stepsisters, Angela Yarger, of White Deer, Dawn Moreno, of Eagle Pass, Texas, and Barbara Woodring, of Fishers, Ind.; three aunts and two uncles, Sandy and Ken Dorman, of Milton, Richard and Sandra Kleckner, of Landisville, and Kay Kleckner, of Woodland Park, Colo.; and six cousins, Michael Dorman and Kathy Smith, both of Milton, Marshall Kleckner, of Columbia, Andrew Kleckner, of Belgium, and Alex Kleckner, of Colorado Springs, Colo.
Scott was preceded in death by his father, Ronald Rupert; paternal grandmother, Dorothy Rupert; maternal grandmother, Ada Kleckner; maternal grandfather, "Lefty" and Ann Kleckner; and an uncle, Don Kleckner.
Friends and relatives will be received from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday at the Shaw Funeral Home, 400 N. Front St., Milton, followed by the funeral at 11, with the Rev. Dale Hippensteel officiating.
The family will provide the flowers.
