Philip Earl Neidig, 88, of 225 Lamplight Lane, Lewisburg, passed away on Friday afternoon, Dec. 9, 2016, at Manor Care in Sunbury.
A native of Snyder County, he was born Feb. 25, 1928, in Hummelswharf, a son of the late Fred and Helen (Wolfe) Neidig. He was married to the former Sunee Luangsrida and his death breaks a marital union of 49 years.
Philip was as member of the Air Force serving 24 years where he was in payroll and accounting. He was later employed as a custodian at a school in Arizona for 12 years.
He was a member of Sacred Heart Church.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Panapa and Tom Lee, of South Bend, Ind.; three grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.
Friends and relatives will be received from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the John H. Shaw III Funeral Home, Market and Eighth streets, Lewisburg, followed by a Christian Wake service with the Rev. MSGR William M. Richardson officiating.
Burial will follow in the Herndon Cemetery.
