Pauline F. Swineford, 78, of Sunbury, passed away on Thursday, April 13, 2017, at the Sunbury Community Hospital.
She was born March 2, 1939, in Sunbury, a daughter of the late Paul and Florence (Witmer) Minnier. On Dec. 7, 1963, she married Barry E. Swineford who survives.
Pauline was a 1957 graduate of Trevorton High School.
She was employed by the Trailco Company and last as a secretary for the United Lutheran Church at Wolfe's Crossroads.
Pauline was a member of the United Lutheran Church where she participated in many activities, and a member of the Tulpehocken Garden Club.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by one son, Daniel L. Swineford, of Sunbury; four grandchildren, Anthony Monroig, Natalie Monroig, Megan Monroig and Steven Swineford; three great-grandchildren, Aubrey, Connor and Karleigh; one brother, Richard Minnier, of Sunbury; and one daughter-in-law, Lori Swineford.
She was preceded in death by one son, Rodney.
Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at United Lutheran Church, Wolfe's Crossroads, where the funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday.
Interment will be in the adjoining church cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, friends are asked to make donations in Pauline's memory to the Sound System Fund of the United Lutheran Church, 167 Seven Points Road, Sunbury PA 17801.
Arrangements are by the Jerre Wirt Blank Funeral Home, 395 State St., Sunbury.
