Nora Ann Apple, 89, of Richfield, entered into rest on Sunday evening, Oct. 16, 2016, at the Richfield Senior Living and Rehabilitation Center.
She was born June 2, 1927, in Lewistown, a daughter of the late George W. and Nora (Hower) Graybill. She was married to Reno Vernon Apple, who preceded her on Aug. 4, 1992.
Nora Ann was a 1945 graduate of Freeburg High School.
She was a member of the Richfield Mennonite Church now known as Richfield Life Ministries Church and was a former member of The Gideons International Auxiliary, Selinsgrove.
Nora Ann enjoyed gardening, sewing, and crocheting.
She is survived by three sons and two daughters-in-law, Donald G. and Diane Apple of Richfield, Kenneth D. and Sharon Apple of Oregon, and Mark D. Apple, and companion Jen, of Richfield; grandchildren, Edward Apple and wife Bobbi, Staci McDonald and husband Derrick, Amanda Hogen and husband Michael, Andrew Apple and wife Meagan, Jonathan Apple and wife Rachel, David Apple and wife Corrina, Amy Apple, Julia Apple, Anna and John Tosti, and Natashia Apple; 13 great-grandchildren; one sister, Mary Lou Snyder, of Richfield; and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by one brother, George C. Graybill.
Friends and family are invited to the viewing from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, and from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday, followed by the funeral at 11, at Richfield Life Ministries Church, 167 Church St., Richfield, with Pastor Aaron Benner and Associate Pastor Joel Snyder, officiating.
Burial will be in Richfield Union Cemetery.
