Nancy K. Huntington, 56, of 123 E. Cherry St., Mount Carmel, passed away on Tuesday, March 7, 2017, at her residence.
She was born Oct. 15, 1960, in Sunbury, a daughter of the late Marlin and Nancy (Weir) Snyder.
Nancy was a 1978 graduate of Shikellamy High School and received a dental assistant degree from Sun Area Tech in 1986. She was a resident of Northumberland until four years ago when she moved to Mount Carmel.
She was employed at Phillips Industry, as well as a bartender at Post 44 Legion, she worked at Target and the deli at Wal-Mart.
Nancy was a member of the United Methodist Church, Northumberland.
She is survived by her significant other, Rick Eckbold Sr.; one sister and brother-in-law, Patricia and Jimmie Wolfgang, of Ashland; four brothers and one sister-in-law, Howard Snyder, of Millersburg, James Snyder, of Sunbury, Roger Snyder, of Northumberland, and Donald and Dona Snyder, of Danville; one stepdaughter, Theresa Howe and her husband Jr, of Shamokin; one stepson, Richard Eckbold Jr. and his wife, Stephanie, of Shamokin; 10 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Larry Snyder; and her paternal grandparents, Howard and Kathryn Rosancrans.
A viewing will be held from 8:30 to 11 a.m. Monday at the C.J. Lucas Funeral Home Inc., 27 N. Vine St., Mount Carmel, followed by the funeral at 11.
Burial will be in Northumberland Memorial Park, Stonington.
