Michael P. "Mike" Moll, 79, of Liberty Street, Watsontown, passed away on Tuesday, Aug. 29, 2017, at the Select Medical Hospital, Danville, surrounded by his family.
He was born April 14, 1938, in Shamokin, a son of the late Daniel and Anna (Chambers) Moll. On Nov. 1, 1964, he married the former Sharon K. Kuhn who survives. They celebrated 52 years of marriage.
Michael was a graduate of Sunbury High School and served honorably with the Air Force.
He was a truck driver for Weis Markets for 50 years.
Michael enjoyed building homes for his family. He enjoyed tinkering around his home and loved his cats and dogs.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Kevin M. and Kimberly Moll, of Watsontown; one grandson, Joshua Moll; and one brother and sister-in-law, John and Lucille Moll, of Sunbury.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Chris Chester.
Friends and family are invited to call from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday at Brooks Funeral Home & Cremation Service PC, 124 Main St., Watsontown, followed by the funeral at 11, with Pastor Daniel Shafer of the Seventh Day Adventist Church of Wytheville, Va., officiating.
Burial with full military honors will follow in Watsontown Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions in Mike's memory be made to Haven to Home Rescue Center, 625 Hillside Drive, Berwick, PA 18603.
