Michael S. Lutcher, 52, of Dewart, passed away Friday, April 21, 2017, at Geisinger Medical Center.
Born Jan. 24, 1965, in Washington, Pa., he was the son of the late Thomas J. and Jeannie (Merrick) Lutcher. On May 6, 1989, he married the former Reva S. Bortz and they have celebrated 27 years of marriage.
He was a 1983 graduate of Milton High School and was currently employed by R & P Security of Milton.
He was a former member of the Milton and Turbot Township fire companies and former member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Milton. He was a current member of Northumberland Fire Police.
Mike enjoyed bowling at the Imperial Lanes in Milton for Team 13.
Surviving in addition to his wife are a son and daughter-in-law, Tom R. and Emily Lutcher, of Puyallup, Washington; a daughter, Anna J. Lutcher, at home; two grandchildren, Tyler and Nevaeh Lutcher; and a brother, Craig R. Lutcher and his wife Lisa, of McEwensville.
Friends are invited to call from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, April 24, 2017, at Brooks Funeral Home & Cremation Svc, PC, 124 Main St., Watsontown, with memorial honors by the fire police at 6:45 p.m. The funeral service will be held at 7 p.m. with the Rev. James Ritter, of Watsontown Baptist Church officiating.
In lieu of flower, the family suggests memorial donations be made to the funeral home to assist the family with funeral expenses.
