Marlin's Story

Marlin Robert "Bobby" Koch II, 52, of Renick, W. Va., passed away peacefully in his sleep on July 16, 2016.

Bobby was born on Oct. 23, 1963, at the Sunbury Community Hospital, Sunbury, a son of the late Marlin and Sally (Hornberger) Koch.

Bobby was a graduate of Selinsgrove Area High School.

Bobby is survived by his partner and companion Cathy "Ginger" Corby; three sisters, Leann Kline, Diane Shilo, and Shelly Shank; three daughters, Tika Slack, Tarina Koch, and Megan Corby; four grandchildren, Jordan Slack, Channing Slack, Cameron Slack, and DeSean Goode.

He was preceded in death by one sister, Marla Koch.

Friends and family may call from 5:30 to 6 p.m. Thursday at the Otterbein United Methodist Church, 356 Vine St., Sunbury. A celebration of life service will begin at 6 p.m. A time of fellowship will follow with Bobby's favorite meal.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to the Franford Veterinary Hospital in W. Va.
