Marianne E. Miller, 68, of Woodside Drive, Milton, passed away on Saturday, April 22, 2017, at Nottingham Village, Northumberland.
She was born Oct. 9, 1948, in Philadelphia, a daughter of the late Ora M. and Helen T. (Roesner) Metcalf. On Aug. 9, 1990, she married Donald W. Miller who survives.
While in Philadelphia she graduated from Catholic school.
She was employed as the executive secretary for the Bank of America, Harrisburg. She later worked as a custodian for Milton School District until her retirement.
Marianne enjoyed keeping her mind sharp by completing crossword and Sudoku puzzles.
In addition to her husband of 26 years, she is survived one son and daughter-in-law, Technical Sergeant James William Miller, of Whiteman Air Force Base and his wife Kendra, of Warrensburg, Mo.; her granddaughter, Alexis Miller; and two brothers, Robert and Richard Metcalf, both of Philadelphia.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Michael Metcalf; and one sister, Sue Metcalf.
Friends and family may gather for a graveside service at 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 2, 2017, in Pomfret Manor Cemetery, Sunbury, with the Rev. Patricia Pittsnogle officiating.
Arrangements are by the Joseph W. Epler Funeral Home, 210 King St., Northumberland.
