Marcalline J. Wagner, 93, of Ridge Road, Beaver Springs, passed away on Saturday, Sept. 16, 2017, at her home.
She was born Feb. 11, 1924, in Akron, Ohio, a daughter of the late Nellie Sigler and Chester Jesse Bilger. On April 5, 1941, she married Carl R. Wagner who preceded her in death on June 10, 2010.
Marcalline retired from Kinney Shoe Corp. Beaver Springs.
She was a life member of the Snyder County Historical Society.
Marcalline was an avid reader and enjoyed cooking and traveling.She faithfully attended her families sporting events.
She is survived by one son, Kenneth Wagner, of York; one daughter and son-in-law, Geraldine "Gerri" and Jim Moist, of Beavertown; five grandchildren and their spouses, Steven and Danielle Wagner, of McClure, Wesley and Cookie Wagner, of Lewistown, Kathy and Joergen Hansen-Nord, of Virginia, Heather and John Boutwell, of Florida, and Jodi and Seth Kurtz, of Hartleton; 10 great-grandchildren, Tanza, Tori, Tyler, Zolton, Brogan, Clayton, Colton, Cash, Maximus, and Alexander; four great-great-grandchildren; Leah, Jase, Rockell, and Kannon.
She was the last of her immediate family and was preceded in death by one son, Robert Wagner in 1967.
A viewing will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the Hummel Funeral Home, 574 Hill St., Middleburg, followed by the funeral at 11, with the Rev. James D. Plank officiating.
Burial will be in Beavertown God's Missionary Church Cemetery.
