Lucille E. "Lucy" Lloyd, 83, of Selinsgrove, passed away early Thursday morning, Oct. 13, 2016, at her home.
She was born Sept. 8, 1933, in Millheim, a daughter of the late George Vonada and Rosella Long.
Lucy had done domestic work for 30 years and for 25 years provided in-home health care.
She was a member of Christian Union Church, Mount Pleasant Mills where she had been a Sunday school teacher and cooked and baked for church functions.
Lucy loved her Lord and the great delight of her life were her grandchildren. She will be remembered for being a terrific baker and doing for others.
She is survived by two sons and one daughter-in-law, Steve LLoyd, of Mifflinburg, and Michael and Susan Lloyd, of Milton; 10 grandchildren, Stephanie Dunham whom she raised, Mary Stanton, Tammy Newcomer, Terry Schaeffer, Robert Lloyd III, Christopher Lloyd, Steve Lloyd Jr., Heather Lloyd, Alissa Smiley, and Mikayla Lloyd; 23 great-grandchildren; and 17 great-great-grandchildren; son-in-law, Terry Scheaffer, of Middleburg; and one sister, Linda Mench, of Milton.
She was preceded in death by one son, Robert Lloyd; one daughter, Dianne Scheaffer; and two brothers, Herman and Edward Geiswite.
A celebration of Lucy's life will be held at 4 p.m. Sunday at the Christian Union Church, 5230 Route 104, Mount Pleasant Mills, with the Rev. Daryl Kuhns officiating.

Funeral arrangements are by the V.L. Seebold Funeral Home, 601 N. High St., Selinsgrove.
